Work stabilizing the hillside continues with completion date of April 26, 2026 on schedule. simultaneously work on the powerhouse is ongoing with generation schedule to resume in May of 2026. Both turbines will be in operation with an expected flow of 1200 1400-1500 cfs during operation. The low water flow will be 90 cfs. This will return the river conditions to a time 10 years ago. Weekly schedules of generation will be published, and it is advised that all users of the river check the schedule before planning activities.

Chris Powell with the Army Corp of Engineers gave a presentation to the group last night in Martinsville.

Because I have common sense, ok
and unfortunately, a lot of people don't.

1400-1500cfs is the more realistic number

Interesteningly the turbine is being manufactured in Canada. During the meeting I let out an "uh-oh" which was greeted with some laughter that can be heard at around 8:50 in part two.

In today's news: Trump raises Canadian steel, aluminum tariffs to 50% in retaliation for Ontario energy duties

Will this affect the damn dam reconstruction? Time will tell.

I hope so. Delay as long as possible to give some more data.

Bullshit.  Half of these voted against Biden, not for Trump.

The reason why voters are voting against candidates instead of for them is because both parties are 70% stupid, and 30% rational.   The primary system needs to be reformed.  In its current state, cultists thrive.  Thanks to Rush Limbaugh, politics is the new religion and both parties are miserable cults and need to be burned like a diseased animal.

Could be.  I suspect we've been voting against candidates, or against an issue or idea, since voting began.  I recall voting against a high school football teammate for team captain because he was trying to snake my girlfriend.  The son-of-a-bitch!  At that juncture in my life, I was a member of the blood-rushing-to-the-head-of-my-penis cult.

Perhaps the largest cult in all this is the 80+ million that did not vote in the last election (you will need to check that #).
