Unplanned job delay means more fishing time!

After some buttoning up all pressing matters, I headed out to an east slope local. Boots were in the water at 11 45 after a .3 mile hike through the woods with no trail down into a gorge.

I've never been to this section.  The pools were awesome.  I had planned to fish over a mile, but ended up covering .3 of a mile in three hours.

Caught 8 of these little guys.  They would only bite when the sun broke through the dense cloud deck which probably totalled 30 minutes.

Browns were fat and brookies were lean.  So much for the rumors of 12 inch brook trout....
