We're heading out tonight to hunt Old Drum. 🤞

With apologies to the purists out there, this trip did not involve any fly rods, feathers, or fur.
Just a run to the saltwater carp spawning grounds with my son, some fresh bait, and a few beers. Action was fast and furious at times, with a couple double-headers and even one triple. Tough work for this old man, but nothing brings more joy to my heart than my little boy's smile when them rods double over. 🙂
Hopefully no fish were permanently harmed. Some of the males even semened happy to see us (as shown in the photo with me holding a small male). 😳
Finished early with 16 landed, including 11 at 40" or better.
