I've had this book for a few years now in the ole' library collecting dust.  Not too long ago I sat down and read it and man...it was one of the finest books on mr. trutta that in my humble opinion, has ever been written.

Published in 1974, it was put out by the Winchester Press.  I don't know if it is still easy to come by, I think Woolly would be the authority on that.  Help me out woolly, can you still get this publication?

Anyway, I would highly suggest anyone to read it if you are interested in the origins of the elusive brown.

Good Reading!

The truth hurts but not as much as a gas guzzling, eco wrecking SUV hitting you at 100 MPH!  Yeah baby, yeah!

you're right jim.... excellent book.

a search at amazon yields a bunch of used copies for sale.

winchester press was one of the best publishing houses for sporting titles in the last 1/2 of the last century...... i guess stackpole & amato publishing houses are the current ones....

Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.
My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!
