Cause we all need classing up. Wolfie ftw.

Hit up a usual to see if the fish had started to wake up.
45 degree water, and 45 degree air to start.
Ramp gathering was as big a part of the plan as anything.





Gonna have some fresh and compound some butter with the rest.  :P

Wildflowers are hitting a peak.
Early ones finishing, later ones starting.

Ended up with 10 small fish. 7 bows, 3 brook.
Took my Smiff net and lost a lot of feesh through the bigger holes.
Pee Wee was doing a drive by as I was packing up at the truck and we had a nice long chat.
We agreed that getting old is a bitch.  :laugh:

Nice tr, ramps are an acquired taste, I'm not a fan, although I almost gave them another chance... we'll see.

Such a wonderful time of year.  I would like to try crock pot lamb w/ramps for Easter supper.

A lb. of ramp compounded butter. One more tommorow. The rest goes to Jacob.

How many plants does it take to make a batch that size? Hope you bring some to the SRTU campout to let everyone try in out. I bet brook trout fried in that with some bacon grease would be good
