As one of the "Stakeholders" on the Smith River I will receive a weekly email of the next weeks generation during the summer weekend test period. I have asked for and received permission to post it here. I will continue to cut and paste them as they are received. -- Be sure you read the disclaimer at the bottom - Stay safe

Philpott generation schedule for July 15 - 21 is as follows:
Saturday, 7 MW: Start at 7:00 am and stop at 8:00 am
Sunday, 7 MW: Start at 7:00 am and stop at 8:00 am
Monday, 75 MW: Start at noon and stop at 6:00 pm
Tuesday, 75 MW: Start at noon and stop at 6:00 pm
Wednesday, 75 MW: Start at noon and stop at 6:00 pm
Thursday, 90 MW: Start at noon and stop at 7:00 pm
Friday, 45 MW: Start at 2:00 pm and stop at 6:00 pm

On Monday thru Friday, the first hour and last hour are with one generator only, other periods of generation are with both units.

The water release schedule can be obtained 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling (276) 629-2432.

This schedule is always subject to change and anyone relying on this information does so at their own risk. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers can assume NO responsibility.
A horn will sound when a water release is about to start. Please remain aware of your surroundings at all times.
