ex - I'm not going to live with you through one more fishing season!

me -There's a season?

Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.

My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!

Neil, Doug, and I hit the local sketchy trash hole for the trashy bottom feeders that inhabit it.  I have never been able to stick a carp on this river, mainly because I give up after a half hour of not spotting a carp and start throwing for smallies.  Doug had some parkway "closure" issues and ended up going back home.

Neil got hooked up early. Fish flopped off after unhooking before we got a photo.

Not long after, I managed to score a nice mirror.

We both had a couple more shots and both stung one more carp.  Around 9 the carp just disappeared and we really didn't see any feeding down the river.

Snakes were out thick and ended up throwing for some smallies in the last hour to wrap things up.

Doug's "closed" gate

But if I do,
It'll be 'cause of you..."

FYI I drove across the bridge and out of your locked gate when I left.   d:b

In your defense though I think an overambitious contractor locked the gate early then realized the error of his ways and reopened... thank goodness.
