I fished a wild stream in NC today. The weather was perfect mid 70's.
The stream is a free stone, the water was very clear and the temperature was 56.
I fished a ptn in the pockets and seams at 7:30 am when I started. I managed a some rainbows and they were fun.

Around 1:30 a good hatch of yellow stones was present, and I switched flies. I fished the fly in the riffles and pools, it worked and I caught some more rainbows. Most fish were in the 8-10" range but fought hard and jumped. I left the stream at 5:30 because I had a four mile hike to get out.

It was a good day to be on the water, and the temperature could not have been better.
The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.

Very nice report. I really like the spots on that bow. Glad you were able to get out.
