Humans have their issues at the moment, but the birds at my house have gone berserk. Male bluebirds and cardinals have been attacking their reflections seen on all reflective surfaces. Car mirrors, storm doors, car windows. My vehicles are covered in bird shit from all the floggings.

Went to the escarpment for a change of scenery. I have fished two segments of this gorge, but have been stood off by the extreme gradient in the midsection. Today, I finally finished the last segment (Apostle Creek).

Started off on the right footing. Many fish were lost, but still not shabby for 2 hours of fishing.

No ramps were procured, but Spring is springing.  Much bloodroot and the usuals.

Three good pools appeared to be picked clean by whoever was hitting it with nightcrawlers. This was an unexpected sight.

Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  The ascent was very incremental, and the numerous ledge rocks gave me a place to sit, or lean when fishing. It really helps to have the foliage gone when traversing new territory.  FYI, this creek is just an hour from your place.

That'll work for sure! Nice fishes!

Still awaiting things sprouting here.
