working out the kinks in the TG-6, trying out the video settings and messing around with long exposures. Packed the tripod, but forgot the part that screws into the camera base, so I had to settel on resting the camera on rocks...

Caught a horney head, a couple of rosy sided dace and a stokbow, that was a good fighter and disn't want to be handled at all, despite the fact that his fins are just nubs...

It started out cool but the sun broke out and the humidity was murder, so I didn't last too long and turned back only to find mr Timber Rattler trailside, he was giving me the eye so ai didn't get as close as I would have liked for a nice portrate of the bastard.

Damn..now my tg-4 is an artifact. Quality looks amazing. I don't blame you for not getting the up close and personal glamor shot with the Crotalus horridus.

Nothing wrong with the TG-4, was pretty happy with the 3 until it went MIA — still have to figure out the GPS logging feature

Like the pictures from the new camera. Bonus points for the timber rattler spotting.

Dang Woolly. I've never gotten beyond point-and-click with my TG-4. If anyone deserves a TG-6, it's you. Fine photographs as usual, even better.

I'm just glad I saw it slithering off the trail instead of a close encounter while bushwhacking out of the gorge

Nice shots! I need to go through the manual and play with my 5 some more. I can get a lot more out of it than I do. Just lazy. One feature I really like is the one that lets you stack three shots at different focus points in macro mode to get more depth of field.

This one struck at my camera right after I snapped this pic:
