Slipped into a stream before it got any higher.
Good day for wildflowers. Still a week before peak?
Not a boat load of feesh, but the average size was stellar.
And they were all plump and feisty.

Veddy nice Doug.

I should get off my ass, and head for the woods.  It was predicted to rain all day yesterday, but only .3" fell in Elkin.  Temps predicted to be in the mid 40s in the hills has me a bit reluctant.

Phil

Excellent feesh, scenery, and even better photographs. Wowsers!

Good stuff Doug. Scenery a bit nicer than where you and I last fished.

Stone-Man

Nice report on some good creek fish. And the flora is outstanding  !!!  'c;
Creeks are totally blown out in E Tenn now and it is still raining

Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.

My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!

No carp on this stream, boss.  :P
Ordered me a TG-5. The old TG-1 has served me well, but it's making me crazy on the fish pics.

Good shit, Doug. Creeks have been pretty much un-fishable here for a couple weeks.
