For the last twenty years or so I have headed to NY the first week of Nov. to catch the big tributary Browns. This year a friend invited me to stop off in PA for a few days on the way up and try for steelheads. Glad I did.

Pretty streams[attachment id=0 msg=160026]

Buddy catches fish on first cast

Silver bullets

Then the rains came and streams filled with leaves and rose a foot

Buddy said not to worry stream would drop fast and clear up, sure enough

More fish porn, even doubled up a few times

After four days of steel I headed north aware of bad weather forecast (lake effect snow)
Got to chosen stream at 3:30 pm and found it loaded with Browns and unfortunately lots of anglers.

With only an hour or so before dark to fish I managed to land several

Last fish

Sad end to trip, when I got phone call that evening to head home because of death of family member.
Drove through snow for many miles on the way south.

When I tried to post the report a message came up that there was a problem and I needed to contact administrator? I gave up; did not see until today that anything
showed up on the board. Woolly gave me lessons and I still can't get this to work....is it .my old I Pad or I am dumber than shit.

One more attempt at posting a photo, a test this is only a test

Next attempt failed? This popped up, "An error has occurred....your attachment has failed security checks and can not be uploaded. Please consult administrator"
Did exactly what I did with the photos that uploaded. What security checks does the Woolly have on my photos?
