Guy came off the New. Distracted me from work. Any ID? Mudwall?

I guessed mahagony dun but thought the color was a little too dark to be a mahagony dun. Glad to know I got the right genus.

I think there are around 15+ species in this genus in the US and 1 species believed to be extinct.

This is a new one for me.  Had 2 long tails like a spinner (they fell off).  NW NC, 2500 feet.  Any ideas? You cannot see attachments on this board.

The pic on my phone is stretched oddly. But looks like a Eastern Green Drake.

I concur. Gets darker as the season goes on.

Check, Eastern Green Drake female spinner, and had 3 tails.  Never seen them get darker as season progressed.  Doug is smoking his socks.  I am jelly of Doug's floral knowledge, but not jelly of his aquatic macroinvertebrtate skills.  Epic critter this is!

Last June on a stream that shall not be named.
Later ones on Whitetop were darker, I swear.
Go fishing Mud, you might learn something.
