Every stream around here is massively blown out. The Blowing Rock Golf course is less than 2 miles from my house. They recorded 19.5 inches of rain in the month of May. Tonight it's raining again. Jeeze. I may try for some brookies in the pond that used to be my back yard.   b';

June is off to a good start.  Over an inch fell yesterday evening in the majority of the Yadkin drainage in upstream of Elkin.  This most recent torrent destroyed a portion of my veggie garden.

And yes, a 56 mile float trip a local Troop has planned will commence in just over a week on the Yadkin, but if this rain does not cease.....

It has rained every day since PFF and is raining now  (11:15 AM ). All the creeks are blown out. The Tailraces are running ape shit in the trees.
Watauga Lake is up in the parking lot at the ramp..        Grrrrhh!!!
