Doug and I planned a trip but somehow had different days on the calendar. Fail. Called up Mudwall and had a plan that we scrapped last minute due to a stream that always holds water and I wanted to fish. I think it was a good call, stream A will be around for scouting when there is more water. Weird day of active fish. Half of the hits were on the dry. I'll take it for December.

Talk about a healthy fish. Guy was thick. He'll have no problem getting over the 12 inch mark at the rate he's going.
Big guy sulked for a while.
Goofy bow. Darkest bow I've caught.
Mudwall squirrel fishing.
This pile of acorns perplexed Mudwall.
Some quiet fun. Note the spent casing in air.
Nice. That stream is easy money.

That one brookie was well over 12 inches in Dougie measurements. I missed Doug being on this adventure.
I promise, I don't feel as old as I look. Maybe the deluge was responsible for the worn-out look.
Peace and thanks for the walk-about.
Cheers, mates. I had responsible parent/husband duties. Kids start coming in another 3 hours. It's all beautiful.
Hard to beat a trip like that and in mid-December! Thanks for the great report. I too would have to wonder about that pile of acorns.....looks like bait to me.
Looks good. Pretty fish. Glad to see someone fishing.
Some nice fish!! Glad somebody is getting out before it turns cold again.
How's that canned cue?
Good stuff! (The fishing trip, don't know about the canned Q.)
