I wear my wading pants alot. Staying dry makes quick trips easier.

Having said that I am currently wet wading in them---they leak.

What is your preferred method for finding holes?
Done it all --- alcohol spray; fill them with water (regular side and inside out). All are a pain in the ass. My favorite method has been to return them and get a new pair. Cabelas has a good guarantee - currently on second pair for same price; maybe ill just send them back while its warm....

Got a preferred method?

I honestly think you answered your own question.

I filled them and mark the holes with a wax marker then let them dry and seal the hole with UV shit. I patch tears with material from old waders and silicon.

The easiest option is returning them for repair or replacement, which means, don't buy the cheap ones.

Better yet? Own more then one set.  That way I always have a set if another is getting sent back.

Tha alcohol method only works with gortex waders. Other than that TF nailed it.

Old school method.

Dark area (pitch black).
Bright flash light stuck inside of leaky waders.
Mark the holes, rips etc.
Repair accordingly...
