As AK suggested, Ben and I hit a well know stream on Saturday.   It fished as expected by giving up several brown and rainbow punes.

We were looking for an adventure on Sunday so we called AK and decided to search for the rare Yeti of Marshall,NC.   It's been rumored to have been building a new den in Marshall so we went to see what we could find.  The only know photo is this undated close-up

When cornered he mesmerized AK and Ben with his shadow casting

He retreated to his den we chased after but the trail eventually led to a dead end of old barns and gravel roads

Next time he won't be so lucky

The Dude

You should have done donuts in the field outside his den.  Yeti peace offering.
I was born by the river in a little tent, And just like the river I've been running ever since, It's been a long, long time coming, But I know change is gonna come.

The grass was like chest high out there, little too sketchy for me travelling over unknown ground.

Big J

Looks like a good time.  Seems like when the wookie comes out to fish and the yeti does too.

Very cool!

Do you get a free merkin and long sleeved tee when you purchase a Yeti.

No, just a bad ass cooler. I don't think they make them out of canvas (or whatever you hipsters are into these days) though.

Does "bad ass" have a new meaning?  Does it now mean overpriced?

My daughter-in-law bought my son one for his birthday.  I told her that the money would have been better spent if she'd bought him 35 or so $10 lap dances.  I weep for our youth and the future.

I really like the "food" photo!

Quote35 or so $10 lap dances.

Still would be a really good gift, but lap dances now cost $20. d:b d:b

I bet if filson made a flannel cooler, you'd pop your first boner since the 80's.

Not in western Bath County, when performed by your cousins.  For $10 or a couple packs of Marlboros you're good to go.
