Son brought me some beer, grilled me some fatty burgers, and went to the nearby brookie stream with me.  Not a bad day.

Caught several small ones; not a damned one was 14 inches.  Maybe I am reeling with the wrong hand.

Yes, as a guest on this reach I release the brookies, hence the fly rod.  Plus, I needed the regular refresher on being an ostentatious dry fly catch-and-release prick; this was my ordered tutorial and re-certification.
