Heading there in 2 weeks for spring break. Seems to be and endless amount of creeks etc to explore.  I'm familiar with saltwater, but have never visited this area before.  Anyone have any experience fishing there?  It will be all DIY.  Probably rent a kayak at some point.  Any advice is welcomed.   0:0
Yup, going fishing

sanjuanwormhatch

kayak -> look for short grass -> fish transitional tides

can probably do some scouting on google earth too (looking for flats)

can probably catch some sharks if you want to do the bait thing.  trout can be caught on shrimp.

there are probably people with a lot more recent experience than i

Thanks guise.  There are several coastal state parks in the area that looks pretty fishy.    I'll ask around when I get there and post a report when I get back. d:b

Never fished the Atlantic side of Florida, but good luck!  Did some research and found some fishing reports that might help you out with some names of ramps and things like that.

You might want to post this question up on the suk!

You might even invoke a reply from Mexico Returns!
