I suspect the water might be a bit murky maƱana

Onslow

Last weekend would've been a great time for someone to fish for stripers in the Yadkin down around Rt. 801/ Rt. 64 area.  I've never seen the river run so low and clear as it has been this past Winter and early Spring.  As luck would have it, as soon as it's time for the fish to do their thing, the mud starts a rolling.

Jason...jis saw your inquiry...water nasty ass rite now, but usually is. It still fishes well at 3kcfs or lower

Fished the Rappahannock on Monday for shad.  Water was higher than normal and murky.  I caught 0, my dad caught 2.  Saw a lot of fish being caught so I know they're running.  Best part of the day was watching a Bald Eagle chasing a Falcon.

After hearing from Jason hit the river on the way home from floating with my dad and brother.  Got on the water at 11 and caught a few fish, a catfish, white bass and 2 white perch.  Didn't have quite the same day Jason and Keith had but still great to fish on back to back days.

That would be my guess as well.  I have only every seen them quickly standing on the side of the road on the parkway.  But it definitely was not a beaver, the tail had fur on it and wasn't flat.  He was living under a tree in the bank, had dug out under the roots.

Definitely a groundhog. Lot's of tasty bit for him to eat around there.

Good stuff. I love catching catfish, for some reason. And those groundhogs are pretty damn good on the smoker. :)
