ex - I'm not going to live with you through one more fishing season!
me -There's a season?

Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.
My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!

Here's mine for Surry Co

They are nasty, but I can't say much; because I like to eat chickens and pigs. I used to keep both myself, but don't any more. So I buy the filthy factory swine and poultry flesh at Ingles nowadays.

Surry also ranks very high in soil erosion.  Fucking retards plant row crops on grades in excess of 10%.  Banning tobacco farming would go a long way towards mitigating Surry County's erosion issues.  Mitchell and Fisher Rivers are pretty much damned.  Have noticed significant degradation on the lower Mitchell in the last 8 years.

Lower Mitchell has gotten my attention big time over the last few years. Pisses me off. Fisher as well.

I mentioned to some of the folks that I thought may care, but I think they're just in it for the money, and they truly don't give two shits.

Tobacco is only a tiny fraction of what it once was here. New construction is really a bitch as well. Nobody gives a damn.

Siltation is the major problem here. Tobacco farming is pretty much a thing of the past here, though. You cannot make any money at it any more. Development causes more issues here than farming. Except for the stretches where cattle have unrestricted access to the creek.
