Lettuce just ain't meant for humans to live off of. I worked with a vegan lady for a few years. She had to have total hip replacements in her 40s. Her bones and vital organs deteriorated quickly, and by the time she was in her 50s, she had the mobility and health of an 80-year old. If we were designed to live off of plants, we would have four-chambered stomachs and eyes on the sides of our heads.
