I look at SEFFF from time to time, but this place seems to suit my sense of style (or lack of) better. I've lived and fished in the WNC area for about 15 years -- slightly less than half of my life. The first half of my life was spent in NE OH. If you've never spent time in Ohio, then you should take my word that Appalachia is a much better place to reside if you like to get out of doors. I know that you might be thinking we don't need any more transplants, and I would agree. I like to pursue wild fish, drink beer (craft or lowbrow shit, it makes no difference to me), listen to music, and spend time with my family. I don't know the unwritten rules of admittance here, but I suspect they require photographic evidence. Unfortunately, I don't take a lot of pictures of anything I do, however I do have a few mediocre examples. I'll try to post some when I figure out how it's done.

Great analysis.

I spent a few minutes last week on SEFFF out of boredom and quickly realized how sad it is to think about people with boxes full of worms, eggs, and bobbers struggling to catch a DH fatty. It certainly has its place and everyone has to start somewhere but it was kind of depressing.

I wasn't there too long ago but I'm happy to deal with the crazies over here in order to avoid the lameness elsewhere, even if I'm still in lurker status most days.
