Hopefully this rain has put a little water back in the creeks.

A key factor right now, and the main reason I held off fishing until yesterday to wait on some good sustained rain.  We need some real long term steady rain though.  A full day of rain on Tuesday and also overnight only brought water levels on this particular creek to what I'd call normal. 

These guys show up?

I've seen said sneak pass before via the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds, very awesome stuff.

Thanks Jacob, glad I had the net with me yesterday.  This is my personal best brown for this stream.  I was kinda bummed I didn't get the slam to cap off the morning, this was the first time I haven't gotten a brookie there I think.
