According to the doc, it is some arthropod bite (tick, mosquito, spider).  Yes, same knee.  Ticks (ones I could see) and mosquitoes were thick.  I have no idea of the abundance of the tiny bastards I couldn't see.  I spent a lot of time in the woods cutting diamond willow and stripping white birch and aspen bark, so who knows what nasty got me.

You Lyme disease free?

I have no idea; the Dr. didn't even test, just gave me drugs.  I am more concerned about the antibiotic than I am about any bacterium.  I am not a fan of taking antibiotics.  I believe it would clear on its own, but the wife harassing me to see the doc ascended to my pestering threshold.

I did get some beautiful bark and some great willow.
