easier to find them in the dead of winter here in East TN.

I've been up to the same stuff lately. I havn't had time to drive to the mountains. More scouting for hunting season, with dog and fly rod in tow. Nothing too crazy, just panfish when I get a chance. But it's good to catch a fish. On a side note, I have no point of reference for what a "Big" rock bass is, but this guy seems to fit that description.
