Don't mean my comments to come across as condescending (if they did).  I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Tranny- WTF is the difference between .dwg and .dwf?   Anything?

Transylwader

DWF renderings are crisper and can be edited when sent to someone for review and can be loaded directly to Autocad with said edits. It's like having your cake and eating it.
DWG is an uneditable version (kind of like old school PDF) there was historicallyall kinds of legal issues and IMO, it is completely ghey and in all honesty, DWF is NC compared to DWG (VAgina)
DXF is old skool, like Woolly
No bullshit bray...

Got it.  Very helpful as I see both all the time but never understood the real difference.

Woolly speaks Cobal And Fortran by the way.   He's like C3PO.

Plus DWF files provide a foundation for archiving older data.  Files can capture original "as printed" record documents and they can be accessed easily by anyone.  The as-plotted view is much better.  Because there is no need for special fonts, enablers, etc.  most reprography shops accept DWF like plot files.  Large projects (many drawings) can be published as a single mega-file from a collection of other files.  The cum springs on the rendezvous wheel of DWF are much stronger also.

This thread took a very interesting and informative turn. I think I'll go punch my balls now
It's all shit, piss and bliss.

I took a COBOL class in college.  Not sure why.

To design storm water ponds. I killed two birds with one stone at University. I would basically be a porn star without a dick if I didn't learn AutoCad

I don't.  I don't know anything about rendezvous wheels or cum springs either.  I was poking those dipsticks, Beetle and Transvestite, for detouring into a technological BS chasm.

Sorry for adding to the diversion.
