I told The Bum that this rod would be a good conversion candidate, but it is in too good of a condition to bugger up. And it has a Grainger style reel seat.
9' Shakespeare 3 piece, 1380T, 1956 manufacture. Bombs out a 6' DT. But needs a 10 oz. Martin 72 to balance it....almost balances it.
A second handle and lighter reel would be sweet. $41 delivered.  -0-


Problem solved.  As long as you are comfortable forking up a grand.  I'm going to order two tomorrow. ;D
