I arrived at LAX at 2:30AM to an awaiting LE bloke called The Wandering Blues. We made haste to the land of the trouts

The next day dawned bright and beautiful. The local contingent were laughing at my poor decision to party like I killed Robert Mugabe, so once again, localism ruled the roost.

2 hours later up a death march. I cried again. In pain...

Then I bawled like I had just got my citizenship. 30 years of dreams of catching a native golden was finally realized. It felt befuck. I sobbed away and then the hangover kicked in again...




I bounced downhill in an attempt to find a tecate I hid near the car. Fuck yes!
I promptly passed out at 4:30PM, curled up in the fetal position. Ringsting won.





Next day, WB was kind enough to take my whining ass to see El Capitan and the hotel Trucha was the head chef and also banged the Queen of England back in the day when she was apparently hot (I don't know about that, bru)




WB and I hit a blue line. Got sick of him catching every fucking fish, so I pulled out my patent, he learned quickly, don't end up behind me...




Headed back over the "berg" to a drinking establishment


Then back to Truchas lake to see if my sorry ass can get the Super Slam. Again, localism ruled...

These goldens are native, California's state fish and were the Little Kern River variety. I had words with about 20 or so of them and they all told me the same thing..GTFO of Cali. I am still on cloud nine and yes, the hike in will about hurt us flat landers to the point where you need several days to really acclamate.
RBC - I could never bring myself to eat a libtard fish. It's sacriledge. I ate brookies with Franzen in CO a few years ago and I thought they tasted like shit. In all honesty, trout are shit tasting fish (all fresh water fish for that matter, except Walleye). I prefer Mahi Mahi, Halibut or Orange Roughy to be honest.
Doug, might as well buy a 10ft werner ladder and jack up a 28" Lahontan on Pyramid. At least that's what I am doing next year. That lake is stupid with big LC's
