Oh well, Transylwader Country ain't the same anymore. Too many dicks trying to pound her.

I trust you have no role in this.   ;D
None whatsoever, according to Mister Know-it-all, I pimped two SC blokes for all of Transylvania's secrets because I know nothing really, so don't blame me, blame them.

Good trip report ALtroutbum.
Wondered where you had run off to.
Some friends and I did a weekend Mountain Biking trip to Lake Powhatan/Bent creek a few weeks back.  I really like that place.  Nice to have a forest like that so close to town.

Earthfare isn't hippie, its yuppie.
The world needs a few crazy hippies just to balance things out.   <-;:

DISCLAIMER: I have never knowingly burned or pillaged a village.

I have, or at least the indigenous folks I was with did. "Free fire zone" where only the bad guys were living or at least that was the theory.  Probably one of the reasons we lost the war.

I, for one, enjoy hippies more than yuppie douchebags

I think not. this is about Al TB's run and not my belief that humanity is fucked.

I agree that humanity is fucked. It's like the movie "Idiocracy" is becoming reality.

"As the 21st century began, human evolution was at a turning point. Natural selection, the process by which the strongest, the smartest, the fastest, reproduced in greater numbers than the rest, a process which had once favored the noblest traits of man, now began to favor different traits. Most science fiction of the day predicted a future that was more civilized and more intelligent. But as time went on, things seemed to be heading in the opposite direction. A dumbing down. How did this happen? Evolution does not necessarily reward intelligence. With no natural predators to thin the herd, it began to simply reward those who reproduced the most, and left the intelligent to become an endangered species."

Nice report.

I bet those orange fish were Tennessee Shiners.  I have seen them before, sure are cool looking in the stream.

I haven't forgot about ya for your Alabama trip. It looks like you'll be here during the week, so I doubt I will be able to get away, but I can give you some info.

The daces were getting it on this past weekend on a local trout creek.  These little effers would make a porn star blush.
