Rained everyday for nearly two weeks at the house. Kept watching the radar all week for this weekend and decided to go to about the only area that didn't seem to be getting hit.

Rainbows were on the feed.

Good stuff, brutha!

I frequent those roadside streams, too. You do what you gotta do.

Sucks no big browns showed up...although that bow ain't bad.  You do know John fished that stream on Friday too, right?

Beetle

Noice A.A.Ron!   I am jealous of your long hikes and time of reflection.   Reminds me of Curtis Creek from years past!

Damn it, no I didn't know. I swear to god that's about the forth time that's happened this year.
That bow hit the same spot on my four weight as the brown last weekend.

Really?  The bow looked a lot bigger in the picture.

Did you fish today where you said you were?

Big J

Roadside streams are usually the best, hiking is overrated.   Nice bow.  d:b

Did you not find any brookies today or did you not go up far enough?

I fished the lower end from 10:00 to 3. Busted off on two that were as good or better than 12" but didn't see anything really big today. After I got out I headed up to the high access and found out its flat as hell. Not sure if it's that way just where the road meets it or if it's that flat for a good stretch. Anyway, I've only ever caught one bookie down low and imagine they start above the falls in the picture from last years TR. I plan on hiking in past the falls before starting next time.

I prefer still lifes and woodpeckers

Stalk softly and carry a green stick.

Skinny legs and hint of jitterbug perfume ain't bad either.

Grannyknot

Awesome report Aaron.

Those browns are just the right size.  Big enough for a good tug on the line, small enough to not ruin a man on dink fishing for the rest of his life.

Slaw dogs look good as well.

Flea is not the best bassist of all time.
