Chased my favorite fish this last weekend. It was a good call to get out there early.

Even on a weekday it didn't take long before I wasn't alone.

Even with all the pressure the fishing was great. I love white bass. I never get tired of catching them.

Dude! I have spent way too many evening's chasing fattie boom boom LMB. I snuck out yesterday onlyto get busted by the hoards of a-holes up in Durham. I managed some whitey's (something about those butterballs) They are good fighters and a worthy adversary on the 4wt. Question is, they done because of this crappy deluge of rain? Next on the list? Shad and then striper (still not really in the river yet)

I think they are still in full swing. At least for another week or so. The striper should be on their way. I'm told the water needs to be at 66 degrees before they are at Weldon.
