Works well. I've used it a few different times. It's silicone based and all it really does is repel water from your guides so they do not ice up as bad. When I got to the creek the air was 22 degrees. My line froze, but I did not have to clean my guides once. My guides have frozen before even with the paste, but it will act like a lubricant and make removing the ice easier.
