Hello, everyone, this is my first post on this forum. I live in Waynesville, NC,  and fish mostly the delayed harvest waters on the Tuckaseegee and the West fork of the Pigeon River. I've trout fished on and off all my life (I'm now 66) but only recently fell in love with nymph fishing.

A few weeks ago I was fishing on the Tuck and struck up a conversation with another fisherman. He was generous enough to give me a nymph he called a blue lightning bug. None of the local fly shops seem to carry it. Just wondered if any of you had ever heard of it and might know of a source?

Thanks, I look forward to learning more about trout fishing here.

Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.
My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!
