Glad y'all had time.  Hope to make one of these again soon.

Any issues with the new neighbors?  They gave us the stink-eye last time I was there and tried to walk over and say hi.

None that I noticed, I pissed on that fence a few times 😀
ex - I'm not going to live with you through one more fishing season!
me -There's a season?

Pastor explains icons to my son: you know like the fish symbol on the back of cars.
My son: My dad has two fish on his car and they're both trout!

Good to see you guys. Always great to see my buddy Shane.

I had planned on camping but I got the call, stay and drink with a bunch of old dudes, or go home because she said "I want you here with me now"  -+;

I also got on warmwater earlier the next day.

Had my daughter Sunday, but evidently didn't get your call or a message. I would have steered you in the right direction for a float.

Damn, it has been 4 years since I was able to make it to the South Holsten River.
After 14 years of PFF was again grand to see old friends and meet some new ones.

Many Thanks to  Devinsdad for Strawbossin', Streamer for the Brunswick Stew, clean up crews for the their good works and to Victoria for keeping a place that folks from all over can still enjoy that river.

A few thoughts and pictures.

Didn't wet a line Friday evening and still had a good time.
Drift boats and pontoons.
Fine campfire on Friday.

Found out that when the felt falls off yer waders boots, wading becomes much more sporty.  Only busted my ass once.  Glad Ralph had the net and I had the camera and a walking stick.

Red pear stomp, oh my.
Furled and twisted leaders.

Caught a couple small one Sunday evening.  Standing on the bank in flip flops after after y'all left on a size #20 stripper midge...

Rain woke me up @ 3 o' clock and slept 'til a little after daylight in the truck.  Saw an Osprey catch a trout while drinkin' tail gate made coffee in tha drizzlin' rain.  Caught a few small trout in the rain near Elizabethton on my way south.

Ain't Life Grand!!!

Phil

Those camp dawgs were a pain in the ass, JT. They repeatedly got into the garbage and strew it everywhere. I had to clean up the site 4 times.

That is the typical reaction when I approach strangers. Guess I was lucky they weren't holding rocks. d:b
Yup, going fishing

Shane

I loved seeing all of you guys. Especially Kyle.  Thanks for the Jager shots and everything.

Those camp doggies kept taking my food.

Low country boil, Brunswick stew and camp breakfast were all awesome.

The catching right in front of camp wasn't too bad.

I had a great time
