that is an odd use for the paw paw.  I'm gonna go pick some paw paws later this week and see if they are ripe.  I like to eat a couple of ripe paw paws but really enjoy eating paw paw ice cream or paw paw nut bread.  And there is a sig. variety of taste between paw paw trees and cultivated varieties (which are numerous).
