Just read it and was going to post it, but you beat me to it. Wonderful article about a truly remarkable man and the legacy that he will leave.

Really don't like espn but sounds like they did a good job with this one.

The closest I could get to owning a Tom Morgan rod is a trusty Winston TMF. IM-6 material still has its place in rod building if you have a hankering for smooth yet non-wimpy rods.

Bruce Richards is the real deal too. He's the man to thank for many of the fly line tapers and materials we enjoy today.

X2,  I don't fish it as much as I should, but its a sweet fishing tool.   My IM6 5wt is the smoothest casting rod I own.
