I took today off work since I had a crazy week last week and revisited a stream I fished a couple weeks ago.  I fished to a substantial waterfall and decided to turn back since I was solo.  Well, it's been bugging whether or not there is brookies above the falls.  So I decided to wait till everything in the woods came alive to make the hike around the falls.   b';  There were bugs coming off the water like crazy and the dry fly action was constant all day.

Hiked back to the waterfall.  Picture doesn't do it justice, there was no going over the falls.  Straight face falls and had to actually go downstream 50 yards and then hike up the mountain and around the falls.  And for nothing....brookies aren't above the falls.  >:( Oh well, you never know till you try.

By chance, on my hike around the falls I saw an old wagon/lumber road on the other side of the stream.

Went to another stream in the area since above the falls failed.  Here's the pictures from stream two.

Just let me know when your up here again. I'm always game for brookies or smallies and you have a place that has great fishing for both.

Nice Work J!  If I thought about it, I should've taken some days off this spring.

Thanks for going up above those falls. I would have hated going up and finding no fish. :P

Very cool day!

Thanks and mailed your flies today.  Also locked my keys and phone in my Jeep at the post office while mailing your flies.  I'm guessing karma for writing GO BLUE on the package  :embarassed:
