As always, the weekend came and went too fast. I love me some Shady Valley time.
Thanks first to JT for running the show, it was complicated this year  :'( b';
BIG Thanks to ODG3 who keeps the wheels on this bus with the hauling of the supplies. YOU DA MAN!! bd;0 bd;0

Thanks to all the cooks - Brian and the Montgomery clan for the great food.
Big thanks to Karen for feeding us so well Saturday morning. Thanks to Mstash for the help.
Thanks to Fly Champs for the assist with setting up my camp.

The weather cooperated compared to what folks in Boone/ Blowing Rock endured. I can live with a few off and on showers.
The Creeks remained fishable through Saturday Afternoon. Then it went down hill in a hurry :o

Random thoughts
Great Day on the Beaverdam with 3 nice fish Friday all wild browns 15 inchers
Having the Psycho Fly Fishers featured on the Saturday Morning Outdoor Radio show Live from camp.. pretty cool right there... guess we're famous (infamous). y; y;

TheLow texting me Monday while I am at work, bragging on the granddaddy brook trout he just caught .... bastage  b';

Thanks to Mstash and Ralph for letting me chase the water with you.
Thanks to Cam and Crew for the shelter from the down pours and the endless laughs.. Holy crap.

Thanks to Tater for the awesome shared brews.
Thanks to JT for some great lightnin' SMOOOOTH

Missing some of the regulars dealing with "Life"

Good to see old friends and meet a few new ones. Hellbender had his own IT guy at camp, didn't know we were that technologically advanced  ;D

Getting a little bit of Shady Valley History of Industry from Irby... pretty interesting.

Good to see Kyle make it, and Hellbender too.

Can't wait for the smallie show to hang with you 'Ner do wells again-
Till next year

Sounds good.

If the streams are blown out, I’ll go hunting instead.

 [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

5 pounds of chicken, six pounds of shrimp, 5 big ass andouille sausages and enough rice for China.

It ain’t Croaker’s low country boil, but it’ll feed ya. Beer and hot sauce fix everything.

OK Cats
 We have 33 sub humanoids signed up for this show. With a possibility of 3-4 more. And then there are the procrastinators who don't commit till the last minute which is fucking annoying to the PFF Straw Bosses (and the primary cooks) since they cannot get an accurate head count. Of course if you lay back till all the plans have been formulated , then it is well possible that you won't be given a work assignment since you are unreliable.

 Another note--- Beware  --  The bear that killed Tom Sharpe's goat and donkey is still alive. If you are fishing the Beaverdam , I would suggest a heater or Bear Mace.
