Fish Fry Anyone?

Went to a super secret fishing hole yesterday with one of my fishing buddies hoping to restock my supply of crappie.  For us the crappie bite has not been normal all spring.  Some days they are "on" and some days they are "off". Same can be said for bream fishing. The normal locations of parking lot size bream beds are few and far between. Nevertheless we are on the topside of the grass and the weather is good so we go fishing.  Got on the water at about 9:00 am and boat back on the trailer at 1:00 pm.

Fishing was not that great. We used ultra-light spin cast rigs with 2 inch curly tail jigs.  Each spot would yield one or two fish. Best spot gave up a half dozen. We only kept the ones big enough for easy filleting.  Have enough spots and you're ready for a fish fry.
