Brookies and Steak

Today was one of those "I'd be stupid not to get out" kind of day with 60 degrees and clear skies.  I had a great couple hours on the water and managed to catch a dozen with a couple that were good sized.  The GWNF has been surprising me lately and this is a very healthy stream!

Excellent reportage. I am so jealous, been laid up sick. Most of the east side park streams were blown out but some west slopers were fishable. Some nice size to some of those fish for da forest.

Nice TR. Those are some healthy looking brookies, don't know if I could have stopped fishing long enough to make the steak like you did though.

im guessing the following
1.) my weenies look like babay dick
2.) fish dont like it too much when the BOTTOM of the stream is iced over
3.)wtf.....

Things were not too good for holmes in later years... thanks for doin your homework but use a more credible source than wikipedia next time :laugh:
