Fishing the James last Saturday
« on: September 23, 2011, 21:00:38 PM »
Client was spin fishing and  bagged two musky, also had a couple follows. One of them was a HUGE fish ! I did pretty good fishing the evening bite with top water baits. I'd recommend a big sneaky pete, if the chartruse color...

for $350 you'd take them down the river and let'em throw what ever the hell they want too..now if'n you was such a great fly fisherman, you would know just how important of a peice of information this is.(the fall musky bite being on) Then again, the flies we throw with a 10 wt are probably just a bit bigger than the fish you usually catch. See if you was a 10wt packing, meat fly flinging, hard core mofo....then you'd be on the James this weekend throwing 12 inch long streamers at 40 inch+ fish till your back gives out...but you aint, so sit back on the couch and keep tweedling your thumbs. Maybe next time you can come up with something smart to say.

now for some naked pics of the ol'lady, I might be willing to show you how its done.  -0-

You're right, I'd gladly take $350 to row a gear-chucker. Hell, I'm not ashamed of using gear if that's what it takes to catch fish. I just wouldn't post it on a board where people don't give a shit about spin-fishing. You're also right about me not spending my limited fishing time hucking streamers with a 10 wt. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for the guys that put in the time to catch such an elusive fish, it's just not my thing...I'll be just fine throwing little dries to risers on the soho tomorrow.  Sorry if that's not badass enough for you, you hardcore mofo.

This guy wasn't the guy that caught six in one day, as for raping the gills. He was holding the fish by the gill plates, though it woulds have been nice to see him hold them horizontal. When i went with the DGIF this past spring musky sampling, this was how i was taught to hold them. I was instructed that the safest way to handle a musky is by the gill plate.
As for me being a badass mofo, Im not....I just love talking sh!t on the forums, gets everybody talking !

The safest way for you maybe, not the fish. Horizontal is best for the fish. I am a 10wt, 12" fly chucker and don't give a shit that you are a Whorvis "guide".
