Finally got around to getting the pics off the camera and gathering some other shots by friends. Ended up not going into the backcountry after somehow lucking into two spots right beside eachother in Slough Creek campground as soon as we arrived Sunday morning. Glad we stayed put because there was so much epic fishing to be done in that corner of the park. Anyway I'll quit yappin and get to the suck. Figured I would just continue this thread with the TR instead of starting a new one.
Drove up through the Tetons sunday morning.

Storm blew my tent (stakes and all) with my sleeping bag and all of my clothes for the week into Slough Creek while I was gone. Fortunately the awesome Norwegian neighbors saved it for me. Ended up sleeping in the car and drying everything out the next day so no big deal but not a great way to start the trip.

I missed countless cutts pulling the fly right out of their mouths because they rise and take the fly so slowly and the water is crystal clear but many brought to hand by everyone. Pulled this little guy out of the V.I.P. pool in first meadow on the 4th cast on a rest break after the rough part of the trail.

Needless to say but Yellowstone is the most beautiful place I have ever been and the fishing is awesome. If you haven't been you need to go. More shots from others cameras to follow.
