I just can't seem to find the time to go 'tooning anymore, so I'm going to part with the trusty Blue Heron. This is in very good condition and has been primarily used in Lake Lure one week a year on vacation, plus a handful of trips to Mountain Island Lake. I had it in a river twice (Catawba and New), and it performed well there, too.
This boat weighs around 60 lbs and is easy to handle, as I put it on the top of my RAV and take it off myself. Plus, I carry it up and down about six flights of stairs at Lake Lure. It is always kept in my garage when not in use, so it is never out in the weather.
Standard features include:
-9 foot pontoons with Summit 2 valves
-6 piece aluminum frame
-Diamondplate aluminum cargo deck with motor mount
-Sturedy padded, folding, molded plastic boat seat
-Two piece, 7 foot aluminum oars
-Brass oar locks
-Removable mesh stripping apron/work surface with measurement marks
-Rod holder w/ velcro strap to prevent rod from slipping out
-Two soft bags for storage, one insulated, with side pouch and soft-sided can/bottle holders
-Adjustable seat position and adjustable foot pegs
I will also include a nylon anchor rope with clip and a mushroom anchor with the boat, plus a pair of float tube fins and a high-volume hand pump.
$395 includes delivery to anywhere within a couple of hours of Charlotte. (Raleigh, Greenville SC, Asheville, etc.)
Here's of picture of a Blue Heron toon. I'll try to take some pics of mine later this week and get them posted. It looks exactly like this except for the bags are black intead of grey.
