Colorado 7/18-7/23
« on: July 24, 2010, 18:10:26 PM »
Spent this past week in Silverthorne, CO and on the surrounding rivers.  We fished the S.Platte, Arkansas, Colorado, and a little private water (you can probably guess which fish came from there  ;D).

The Platte was the most consistent water by far, fish were hitting caddis left and right.  That's where the little cutthroat came from...here's another brown I left out (also from the Platte).

Maybe the kind folks at Stone Mountain State Park cant sort their deal out on Bullhead like it once was and you wouldn't have to go half way cross the USA to catch a 30" brown... then again, nothing beats travelling. Nice one brother. many more to come!

Great post with some excellent pics of the water you were fishing. That looks like a great time was had by all.
