I read the first chapter at Borders and then ordered a used hard cover from Amazon for $2.50...

I'm enjoying the stories of a Montana Guides but I'm still thinking that the first chapter was the best part of the book... I've got a couple of chapters to go, so maybe he'll surprise my with a few more great stories.....


I'll be reselling it when I'm done....

Agree that "A Good Life Wasted" is worth reading, but "Dances with Sharks", his follow-up book, is more bout Dave's personal struggle with cancer (he made it, last I heard), than fishing. Wasn't one of my personal favorites.
