Post 3 of 6: SecretWeapon’s, Peddler’s and LLN’s Excellent Adventure.

Tuesday was Yellowstone float for Peddler and LLN, while SecretWeapon fished a local stream and made the rounds in Livingston.

We loaded up the drift boat and off we went.

We caught a number of white fish and Peddler hooked up with some ‘bows on small dry flies.  Finally, after many tangles, LLN hooked AND LANDED a very nice rainbow.  Caught the ‘bow on a crystal serendipity nymph, “bobber fishing”.

Chis did a great job putting up with Peddler and LLN’s BS, and we loaded up and headed home. 

Meanwhile SECRETWEAPON caught some nice trout on a local stream but really scored big when that silver tongued devil hooked us up with a ½ Thursday morning on DePuy Spring Creek.  Apparently ½ days are just not done on the spring creeks, but the Baxman did it.
