Went to the Nol on Sunday- water is clear and clean. It's ready to fish for smallies!!!! Caught 3 smallies using a Linville Chuck (simple pattern Mickey Finn Type) This has been the first time I have had the chance to go smallie fishing!!!! Wow, what a blast! beautiful river, but be careful, 2 steps in the wrong direction and you are over your head!!! :D

  You mean you caught your first smallie? Good deal! It don't get much better than that! Don't forget to try Accardo poppers (chartreuse size 8 "spook" or "miss prissy", walmart). They have worked good for me there.
