Back in Twin

The good news is I am back in Twin for a while and I am very happy to leave the hot and humid weather of NC behind for a bit although it has been and is hot here in the afternoons but then cools to mid 40's during the night and early morning.

Went up to Ruby Dam yesterday for a few hours, it is a bit of water I don't often fish but decided to give it a go.  Started slow and just kept going smaller on the nymphs, no bugs flying unfortunately, but still not much happening.  And then the obvious struck me, more cowbell!  When in doubt it never hurts to go a bit deeper and this is very true in fast moving water.  Made the change and caught some fish.  The nicest a 17-18 inch brown that was near a very fast corner, so I put some heat on him and fortunately got him to hand.

Good to be back.
